HAVE YOU DONE YOUR PART?ARE YOU DOING YOUR PART? Exod. 14:14-15

The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. (15) And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: (KJV)

God will fight the battle for you. And you? You keep your mouths shut!” 15 God said to Moses: “Why cry out to me? Speak to the Israelites. Order them to get moving. (MSG)

Last week we talked about God’s intentionality in preparing the twelve to go out to all nations and preach the Good News of Jesus Christ and what He has done for the believer. God presented us with five-thousand spiritually and physically hungry people. And with a boys lunch, He was able to show and teach them, “That where there are two or three joined together in His name He will be in the midst also”.[1]With two fish and five loafs of bread they were able to feed five-thousand men not including women and children”.[2] They had and you have the gift that is to be shared with the world as long as you put Christ first. He helped them to know that “He was the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”[3] He taught them order, by having them to sit down the people in groups of fifty.[4] He connected them to God and to each other. They began to serve others more than themselves. They began to work together and not against each other. They found love for the master and there neighbor. They began to show more servitude than attitude. Jesus had equipped them and released them to do ministry. They Began To Do Their Part In The Salvation Of Self And The World That They Had Been Released To Serve. Are you doing your part?

[1] Matt. 18:20, KJV [2] John 6:1-13, KJV [3] John 6:51, KJV [4] Jhon 6:1-13

There are battles that the father has promised to fight for you. we see an example of this when the Israelites escape slavery in Egypt and arrived at the Red Sea. Pharaoh reversed his decision to let them go and send his army after them. The devil will never stop chasing you. However the Lord I serve say’s to all that believe “I got this just keep your mouth shut” So, Moses being Moses told the Israelites that they could trust the Lord to deliver them. And he did, using the staff that Moses had and the faith that the Israelites had in Moses and the God he followed.

You can trust God to take care of what concerns you as well. However, what often happens with trials, is that we are so concerned with God part of our deliverance that we are Paralyzed by Fear and Either Unable Or Unwilling To Carry Out What He's Instructed Us To Do.

This almost happened to the Israelites. They were so frightened that they almost failed to do their part to walk through the Red Sea-though this was an important part-of his plan. God has a plan for each one of us. But we HAVE TO DO OUR PART. And no one can do it for us. DO YOUR PART.

Today I ask you, don't make the same mistake. The Lord has shown you what He wants you to do. So today go forward in obedience, trust, and faith, knowing that what you do is fulfilling your part of the plan that God has assigned you to do. Don't worry about the rest—God has what you are worrying about completely covered. This is what He told Peter, when Peter was worrying about John in the book of John (Jh.21:22)[1]Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.”

We are on a collision with a re-session. The Great Depression was a worldwide economic depression that lasted 10 years. It began in the United States on October 24, 1929, otherwise known as “Black Thursday," when panicked investors sold a record thirteen million shares. Over the next four trading days, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, a popular proxy for the U.S. stock market, fell 25%.[2] Then there was the 1973–1975 recession or 1970s recession that began in 1968. This was a period of economic stagnation in much of the Western world during the 1970s, putting an end to the overall post–World War II economic expansion. It differed from many previous recessions by being a stagflation, where high unemployment and high inflation existed simultaneously.[3] Times were tight and just like in 1929 nobody was ready for the financial rate hikes to live a decent life. Church how do we master this through Belief, Faith, Trust, and Work through Christ. Let’s start at the top;

· Food is higher than ever and the shelves are bare. Church if we plan out a week’s meal for six days and shop for major groceries just once a week. You will save a lot of money. You see every time you go into a store to pick up one item you always pick up more than you started too. You just spent more than you intended. With this you saved on spending for extra food and on the gas that took you there.

· Gas is at an all-time high. Cut back on your eating out. Your weekly meal planning may include a night-out to eat. Set a moderate budget for that in your weekly planning. Church there is order in the chaos.

· If you like visiting friends, share the gathering times by agreeing to alternate houses as to will be the guest host for the week. This will keep the face to face comradery going and save gas also.

· Cut down on the electric bill by not having every TV and every light on in the house at the same time. I know that young folks and adults too like their privacy. But we are headed for some tough times with everything going up in price. It is better to share now and have it in the long-run or not share now and sit in the darkness later on.

· Stop washing clothes every day. Set a special day for laundry for each person that does their own laundry. This will save you money on your electric bill and your water bill.

· Although we pray everyday and on many occasions we may pray all doing the day. But let there be special time in the day or a day where you find your private spot and have a little talk with Jesus and tell him all about your problems and our troubles. Jesus will say you are doing your part. But make sure you say thank you for all He has done. Church are you doing your part to find the peace you are looking for in a world that throughs every barrier it can to keep your life in a turmoil where there is no peace. But, when you grab a hold of the peace of God. For He has done His part. You will find the peace that will surpass all understanding.[4] You will “let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.”[5]

Church I have just given you a road map of hope, and sovereignty, in a chaotic world. Some may say God bless America. I say God has blessed America. He has given us all the knowledge we need to survive this recession if we do our part and not worry about God’s part. Let us drop our pride and our vain glory. It may not look like the lifestyle you want to live. But by the grace of God you are still living and breathing the air that God has chosen for you to live by. The air you breathe was chosen specifically for you. Look how special you are to God.

Are You Doing Your Part?

We are never alone. Jesus is the one friend you will always have, who is “The same yesterday, today, and will be forever.”[1] He is always with you and always faithful. So when loneliness and misery engulfs you, the first thing you must do is to turn your focus away from what you don’t have to what you do have. GOD HIMSELF. “Are you doing your part?” to help yourself.

You cannot ever be alone once you’ve trusted in Jesus as you savior. “Are you doing your part?’ His Holy Spirit comes to dwell within you. And God becomes inextricably connected to you. You began to share with Him the most profound relationship possible—an eternal, spiritual intimacy through which you have access to Him always. So I ask you, have you done your part that allows God to pull us up and out of this horrible pit?

The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. (15) And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

The battle is not ours it the lord. Let us stop worrying about Gods part.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (2) The same was in the beginning with God. (3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men.[2]

Christ chose to come to earth and to be crucified, but toward the end, He asked His father to remove this bitter cup. But as He thought about it, He knew the importance of doing His part at Calvary. He simply said “If It Be Thy Will

Christ is always there, desiring to be ever more intimate with you. Children do your part and look to the one who remains close to you.

Do your part:

Have faith

Trust God

Do your part and put the work in.
